Amana Asset Management Limited (AAML) commenced operations in January 2008, and is engaged in Private Wealth and Asset Management, Property and Real Estate Management, Investment Advisory Services, Inheritance and Wakf Management, Financial Brokerage, Financial Restructuring Services, Corporate Advisory Services, Shariah Advisory Services, Corporate Finance, Project Development and Finance, Product Research and Development, Structured Finance and Real Estate Development.

AAML is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amana Global Limited (AGL), which is BOI Company approved company providing services Islamic finance consultancy clients overseas and Sri lanka. Amana Global Limited is a fully owned subsidery of Amana takaful Plc which is listed in the Clombo stock exchang premier forward of takaful services of Sri Lanka.

The Amana Group consists of 5 companies and offers a plethora of Shariah Compliant Financial and Investment Products and Services that range from Banking Activities, Investment Banking Activities, Money Market and Capital Market Products and Services, Stock Brokering, Takaful Insurance, and Private Wealth and Asset Management Services. The Group has also been responsible for launching several new products in Sri Lanka, which have been pioneering in nature. This includes the first ever Shariah Complaint Equity Fund, launched jointly by Amana Capital Limited (ACL) and National Asset Management Limited (NAMAL). The Group is also responsible for launching a Co-Banded Index with Dow Jones, USA, to track the performance of Shariah Compliant Equities listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).

Shariah Compliance is the cornerstone of the Amana Group's operations. A Shariah Supervisory Council monitors and approves all products and services to ensure that they comply with Shariah Law. The Group also conducts regular Shariah Audits to ensure Shariah Compliance at all times.
